Intel Compute Stick

Why did I choose this topic?

I chose this topic because ever since I was very young, I have had a special interest in computers and, more importantly, the way they display graphics. I always wanted that cutting edge GPU to play the latest games at the highest qualities.

Why is this new technology so important to our society?

GPUs serve many purposes. These include, but aren't limited to,  simply displaying the graphical user interface and operating system, gaming, photo and video editing, engineering, design, CPU-assisting, and bitcoin mining. These, and others I am sure I missed, have a big impact on day-to-day life and the digital world.  While computing is very much possible without a GPU, it opens much more possibilities and adds visual aethetics.
