They are objects, graphics handles are object handles of various types, depending on the class of the graphics object.
6. Define points and explain how they relate to vector images.
Points are vertices, they are corner points and smooth points. At a smooth point, path segments are connected as a smooth curve; the incoming and outgoing direction lines are on the same line. At a corner point, a path abruptly changes direction; the incoming and outgoing direction lines are on different lines. You can draw a path using any combination of corner and smooth points. If you draw the wrong kind of point, you can change it later.
7. Describe objects in vector drawings.
describe an image according to its geometric characteristics. Examples of vector graphics elements within After Effects include mask paths, shapes on shape layers, and text on text layers.
8. Define a bounding box in vector graphics.
When you modify a Bezier path using the free-transform bounding box, you modify these intrinsic properties for the vertices that constitute that path.
9. Differentiate between a selection tool and a direct selection tool
The most confusing part of InDesign is the difference between the Selection tool (black arrow) and the Direct Selection tool (white arrow). The Selection tool will always select the object as a whole. Use this tool when you want to manipulate the entire object.
10. Identify the tool used to add or remove points along the line or curve in a vector drawing.
A path consists of one or more straight or curved segments. Anchor points mark the end points of the path segments. On curved segments, each selected anchor point displays one or two direction lines, ending in direction points. The positions of direction lines and points determine the size and shape of a curved segment. Moving these elements reshapes the curves in a path.
